Our Program

An Intensive and Recognized Training

Our intensive 16-week training, offered in French or English, 5 to 7 days a week and 10 hours a day, is recognized across Canada and gives you access to international offshore sites.

Underwater, No Matter the Weather

The program runs from March to June, allowing you to experience practicing underwater works in both the cold and more temperate climates of Quebec.

A Diploma That Opens Doors

Following completion of this training and graduation, you will be able to apply for the DCBC unrestricted surface supplied diver certificate. This will open access to underwater works federal and international markets.

What you need

Requirements

  • To be at least 18 years old.
  • To have duly completed the registration forms.
  • To have paid the requested amount at registration.
  • To present a sport diving certificate attesting to a minimum of 20 hours of open-water diving, accumulated and recorded in a diving log.
  • To present a medical certificate issued by a hyperbaric physician, proving ability to dive.
  • To pass an interview with the president and the trainers.
  • To take physical tests and present the results of a stress ECG.
  • To hold a certificate of first aid in the workplace, valid for the entire duration of the training.
